Welcome from the Director of Rugby

Welcome back to The Big Field,

It’s great to be back at home today after our trip to Jersey. Last time we were at home it was against Guernsey, and what a game that was. Zak dropped into the pocket for the clearance kick, securing the bonus point.

A special welcome to our opposition players, supporters, coaches and management from Henley today. I know Henley is a very proud club, and their recent resurgence in form shows that they are well equipped for this league.

We had to adapt at the start of the season, and even though we secured five wins in a row, the performances have not been exactly perfect. That said, I’m proud of the squad for showing character when required, but today will most certainly be another great test for us.

There seem to be a few new faces amongst the Henley squad, and on review they have certainly added value to Henley’s recent form.

I hope you all enjoy the first game of Block 2, and let’s get behind the players and support them.

Your DoR,
Armand
